MAKEUP INSPIRATION PART 1

Sometimes, I run out of ideas on what look to do for the day or I just get bored with previous looks and might want to try out something new.
In times like these, I try to look around for things that inspire me to create something different and I try to tailor it into something I can actually wear out for the day. My today's look was inspired from a bouquet of plastic flowers in my mother's bathroom.

I've seen these flowers over a million times, but I actually took keen interest in them today and I was able to translate them into this look.

PRODUCTS USED:

FACE
Neutrogena Oil free moisturizer.
MaryKay Oil mattifier.
MaryKay Foundation primer.
MaryKay Creme to Powder foundation.
Zaron loose powder.

EYES
Casabella shadow base light primer ( love, love this primer).
BH Cosmetics cool matte eyeshadow - for lids
Tara Orekelewa 4 colour eyeshadow (set 03) - for crease
Absolute eyeshadow palette(name missing) - for highlight
MaryKay liquid black eye liner.
Kiss luxury pencil eye liner in Classic black.
Zaron coloured pencil in Grasshopper.
Sleek waterproof mascara.
Ardell lashes in Demi black

BROWS
Davis eyebrow pencil #18 (yep! That 50 naira pencil).
Zaron eyebrow definer.
NYX concealer in Tan bronze.

LIPS
Sleek pout polish (base).
Zaron lip liner pencil in Red vines.
NYX lipstick in Pumpkin pie.

There you have it. So look around your surroundings for inspiration, play around a little and look beautiful!

I just want to thank God for adding one more beautiful year to my life. He has been with me throughout the highs and lows of my life and have worked me out to be the best that I can be. Many more years to me!

EASY STEPS TO ACHIEVING A FLAWLESS SKIN

Have you ever looked at another females face and wondered how flawless her skin appeared to be. Maybe you've even walked up to her to find out what cream, foundation or powder she may be using. Lol. This happens to alot of us. Here are some easy steps with products that won't break your bank account to achieving that kind of look.

STEP 1
It starts with  BASE. Exactly! That's what you use before applying your foundation or powder. First apply a moisturizer over your clean face. Wait for about 3-5 minutes to allow your skin to absorb it.

STEP 2 (Optional)
For my oily skin sisters, and most of us are, lol. You might consider using an oil mattifier. This helps to reduce the oil from your skin to the barest minimum and also reduces the appearance of shine on the face.

STEP 3
Prime your face with a foundation primer to help foundation stay in place. Wait for 3-5 minutes to allow the skin to absorb it.

STEP 4
Apply foundation of your choice using your fingers, sponge or brush.

STEP 5
Apply concealer to hide any dark circles or spots.

STEP 6
Set with powder.
